About our Creative Director

Born in the heart of Pakistan’s textile capital, Umama always saw fashion as more than fabric — it was identity, culture, and quiet rebellion. With a degree in Fashion Design from the Institute of Arts and Design, GCU Faisalabad, and global exposure from her time in the UAE, she developed a clear vision: to modernize Pakistani fashion while honoring its roots.

As Co-founder and Creative Director of Tiraz, Umama blends centuries-old embroidery traditions with bold, modern silhouettes. Each piece is designed to reflect the strength, confidence, and individuality of the modern Pakistani woman — not as the world sees her, but as she sees herself.
